Khalsa Aid Australia's Blood Drive 2021
In June, Khalsa Aid Australia is targeting 84 blood or plasma donations in each Australian state to commemorate two events: Vaisakhi - the Birth of the Khalsa - and the 1984 Sikh Genocide. Khalsa Aid is working with Red Cross Australia to reach a goal of 1800 blood donations by 30th June 2023.
Langar Aid's NHS Blood Drive 2019
To commemorate the 550th anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birth, Langar Aid partnered with the NHS to register almost 700 new blood and organ donors. This initiative also aimed to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of blood and organ donation.
