According to the World Health Organisation, 2.2 billion people globally still lack access to safe drinking water.
Without urgent action, by 2030 around 700 million people could face displacement due to water scarcity. Families will continue to rely on unsafe water sources, increasing the risk of disease and limiting opportunities for education and livelihoods.

Water scarcity directly impacts health, education, and food security. In many rural African communities, the challenge is not water availability but the absence of safe and reliable infrastructure to access it.
Water4Africa is acting now to address this need by delivering sustainable, long-term clean water solutions to communities where access remains limited or unreliable.

Over the past decade, Khalsa Aid International’s Water4Africa project has delivered clean, accessible water to communities across Sub-Saharan Africa.
So far, Water4Africa has provided 203 water sources, benefiting over 114,000 people daily. Sustainably sourced clean water now reaches communities across Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, and The Gambia.

Figures are updated with each deployment. The full impact often extends beyond what can be measured.
