The UK faces record levels of child poverty, with 2023 statistics showing over 4.2 million children affected. In response, we launched an initiative to prioritize support for these children, aiming to ensure no child goes without meals.
Langar Aid actively engages with over 30 schools across the West Midlands. Workshops and assemblies are conducted to raise awareness on homelessness in the UK. Langar Aid also offer students participating in the Duke of Edinburgh award up to 3 months of valuable work experience.

Langar Aid, Khalsa Aid's flagship project based in the UK, is dedicated to providing food for the homeless and vulnerable across the country. Its work extends beyond the UK, providing crucial support to Khalsa Aid’s international relief missions.
The seeds for Langar Aid were sown in a family home in 2016 in Coventry, and swiftly blossomed into the impactful, compassionate project that we know it for today.
