Cyclone Michaung's devastation in Tamil Nadu left thousands of families without basic necessities. Many lost their homes, belongings, and sources of income. The affected communities faced urgent needs for food, shelter, clothing, and medical assistance. Khalsa Aid aimed to address these critical challenges and provide timely relief to the impacted population.
Over the course of nine days, Khalsa Aid's team conducted detailed assessments to gauge the extent of damage and identify the most urgent needs of the affected population. In response to the crisis, Khalsa Aid provided essential relief supplies to families across the 27 affected villages.
One of Khalsa Aid's primary areas of focus is providing immediate relief during natural disasters and conflicts. When disasters like earthquakes, floods, or tsunamis strike, Khalsa Aid is often among the first organizations on the ground, distributing food, water, medical supplies, and shelter to affected populations.
