Project summary

The essential aid carried out in Kot Dharmu Village is a part of the Focus Panjab initiative. After a necessary needs assessment of the state of Panjab, Khalsa Aid piloted a new project to target the issues and challenges that the people of Kot Dharmu. For the last three years, teams have actively assisted countless families through tragedy.

What the problem was

The village of Kot Dharmu is at the top of the list for farmer suicides in the state of Panjab. This has lead many families and economic-dependents to struggle hard for their livelihood, all the while living in dilapidated conditions and poverty.
