Home Reconstruction

Project summary

This Focus Panjab project aims to assist families affected by the 1984 genocide, and natural disasters. The Home Reconstruction project aids families by providing them with shelter and means of livelihood. In 2022, Khalsa Aid reconstructed 206 homes in Panjab, including 21 homes for families affected by the 1984 violence.

Beneficiaries include:

• Financially disadvantaged families

• 1984-affected families

• Individuals bedridden by illness

• Granthi Singhs (Sikh religious leaders)
