The UK’s leading car rental company, Enterprise, contributed £2,500 to Khalsa Aid at the Volunteers Dinner in Birmingham on 15th November. The event also celebrated 10 years of Langar Aid’s community service across the UK.

Khalsa Aid recently hosted its Volunteers Dinner in Birmingham, bringing together supporters and team members from across the UK to celebrate the incredible dedication that fuels our humanitarian work. During the event, the Enterprise team presented a generous £2,500 donation in support of our ongoing global relief efforts.

Zain Akhtar, Area Rental Manager for Southeast England, and Daljinder Singh, a long-standing supporter and Branch Manager at Enterprise, joined us to present the cheque to our CEO and founder, Ravi Singh. Their presence added to the spirit of the evening, a gathering of people united by service, empathy, and shared purpose.

This contribution is a powerful act of community-driven compassion. Enterprise chose to stand with families affected by crises worldwide, and it is this kind of support that strengthens our ability to respond quickly when disaster strikes.

The donation was made through the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, which supports communities by funding causes including health and human services, education, environmental initiatives, military support, disaster relief, and the arts. Grants are issued to eligible charities in good standing, ensuring responsible and meaningful impact.

The event marked a special milestone, 10 years of Langar Aid, our Coventry-based community kitchen initiative that has been feeding the homeless and vulnerable for a decade. Today, the Langar Aid kitchen serves over 4,000 meals every week, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers whose commitment continues to inspire us.

The volunteers dinner brought together volunteers, supporters, partners, and the Langar Aid team under one roof. It was a heartfelt celebration of service, community, and compassion — and a reminder of what we can achieve when we stand together.
