Panjabi actor Kuljinder Sidhu joined Khalsa Aid volunteers in Ferozepur to meet flood-affected families and witness ongoing efforts to rebuild homes and farmlands through the Panjab Rehabilitation Project.
Khalsa Aid is currently in Phase Two of its Panjab Rehabilitation Project, focusing on restoring farmlands and rebuilding homes damaged by the devastating 2025 floods. Teams are active across multiple districts, including Ferozepur, where reconstruction work is already underway.
During his visit, actor Kuljinder Sidhu met with volunteers and local families in the villages of Arazi Sabhra and Muthianwala. He also visited sites where Khalsa Aid volunteers are levelling flood-hit fields and helping farmers make the land cultivable again.
“While the floods have passed, the work is not over yet,” he said. “A lot still needs to be done to rebuild what’s been lost. Everyone who can, should do their bit to help these families recover.”
For over three months, Khalsa Aid volunteers have been distributing food and medical aid, restoring farmland, and rebuilding homes, continuing the spirit of seva — selfless service — that defines the organisation’s mission.
Kuljinder praised their commitment, calling it “a living example of humanity in action.”
