[Update] Vital aid delivered to Gaza after months of challenges

03 Dec 2024 | Updated 10 Dec 2024

Khalsa Aid remains dedicated to giving unwavering support and a voice to the malnourished and displaced population in Gaza. These relief efforts began in Egypt, Cairo, in late April of 2024, as our relief team worked close with the commendable Egyptian Red Crescent to procure critical aid supplies. This aid was packed into a convoy of delivery trucks at the border in Cairo.

We are thrilled to announce that, after eight arduous months of delay due to political restrictions, our shipment of 1,000 food packages and 1,000 hygiene kits has finally reached Gaza. The news was delivered to the organisation early in the morning on the 2nd of December 2024.

We can only envision the challenges that this shipment may alleviate for our beneficiaries, and the doors that this opens for future relief initiatives in Gaza. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, our donors, for your unwavering support and contributions to our mission, as well as for your continued trust in our efforts to aid the people of Gaza. Additionally, we would like to thank the Egyptian Red Crescent for their extraordinary and crucial collaboration during this vital initiative.

Please continue to support our mission of ‘recognising the whole human race as one’ by donating.
